Into 0603 (1608 Metric) packages, PTC thermistors are put to prevent damage. In order to ensure the safety of these PTC thermistors, they are packaged in Tape & Reel (TR). PTC thermistor terminations are 2. It has 2 pins. While operating, the PTC thermistors could output 30V voltage. Ideally, the thermistor should be able to handle and conduct this power loss without overheating. Thermistors with PTC technology produce 0.075W heat.
