Description
The ST62T60CB6 device is a low-cost member of the ST62xx 8-bit HCMOS microcontroller family, which is intended for applications with low to medium complexity. A common core is surrounded by a number of on-chip peripherals, which form the basis for all ST62xx devices. The erasable EPROM variant of the ST62T60C device, the ST62E60C, can be used to simulate the ST62T53C, ST62T60C, and ST62T63C devices, as well as their corresponding ST6253C, ST6260B, and ST6263B ROM counterparts. Devices using OTP and EPROM have the same functionality. The ROM-based versions provide the same functionality, allowing users to select the options listed in the OTP/EPROM versions' programmable option byte as ROM options. OTP devices are the best option in a variety of applications when frequent code updates, various code versions, or last-minute programmability are required since they provide all the benefits of user programmability at a cheap cost. These small, inexpensive devices have a Timer with an 8-bit counter and a 7-bit programmable Prescaler, an 8-bit Auto-Reload Timer, EEPROM data capability (except for the ST62T53C), a serial port communication interface, an 8-bit A/D Converter with 7 analog inputs, and a Digital Watchdog timer, making them suitable for a variety of industrial, automotive, and household appliance applications.
