The ultra-low-end market's general-purpose 8-bit hardware is the MC9RS08KA4CWG microcontroller (MCU). RS08KA devices, which use the RS08 architecture, were created especially for tiny memory size microcontrollers to be more effective and affordable. High-brightness light-emitting diodes (LEDs), lighting system controllers, compact handheld devices, toys, AC line voltage monitoring, simple logic, analog drivers, and ASIC replacements are just a few of the uses for the multipurpose MC9RS08KA MCU. It is perfect for making the changeover to a complete electronic solution from solid-state relays and switching systems.

– Oscillator (XOSC) — Loop-Control Pierce oscillator; crystal or ceramic resonator range of 31.25 kHz to 39.0625 kHz or 1 MHz to 5 MHz – Internal Clock Source (ICS) — Internal clock source module containing a frequency-locked-loop (FLL) controlled by internal or external reference; precision trimming of internal reference allows 0.2% resolution and 2% deviation over temperature and voltage;supports bus frequencies up to 10 MHz System Protection
