It is recommended that the PTC thermistors be packaged in 0603 (1608 Metric) packages to prevent damage to them. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) to ensure safety. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. A thermistor with 2 pins is available. In order to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating, the thermistor should have a maximum carrying capacity of 0. A thermistor of this type should be able to supply 30V voltage when it is operational. It is expected that PTC thermistors produce 75mW heat. As a rule of thumb, this thermistor should provide a maximum voltage of 30V to ensure reliable operation.
