SD3421-002 Overview
To protect the photodiodes, they are packed in the Bulk. Photodiodes are protected by TO-46 packages in order to ensure their safety. When reverse-bias is applied continuously, the photodiodes are able to withstand only 75V voltage. A reverse-bias photodiode shouldn't exceed 75V continuously in reverse-bias mode. Pins 3 are present on the photodiodes. When the photodiodes are placed in a circuit, they may produce heat 150mW. While photodiodes are operating, the temperature should not exceed 125°C. But the photodiodes should operate at a temperature of -55°C. Photodiodes should release 150mW heat in a circuit. If the reverse voltage is 75V, the photodiodes can operate properly in the DC circuit. Ensure photodiodes work by setting the breakdown voltage to 75V. A photodiode occurs even at 20nA current without light input.
