These photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk to protect them from damage. The photodiodes are put into TO-46 packages for safety protection. The photodiodes have 3 pins. The photodiodes could release 150mW heat within a circuit. The temperature should not be higher than 125°C when photodiodes operate. But the minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes should be set to -55°C. In general, the maximum heat released by the photodiodes should be 150mW in a circuit. Even in the absence of light input, a photodiode occurs 250nA current.
