Description
The MP6901 is a Low-Drop Diode Emulator IC that replaces Schottky diodes in high-efficiency Flyback converters. It regulates the forward drop of an external switch to approximately 70mV and switches it off when the voltage becomes negative. Package options include TSOT23-5 and SOIC-8.

Compatible with both Standard and Logic Level FETs
Meets Energy Star and 1W Standby requirements
VDD range from 8V to 24V
70mV Vos regulation function
Fast turn-off total delay of 20ns
Maximum 400kHz switching frequency
Low quiescent current (<3mA)
Supports CCM, DCM, and Quasi-Resonant topologies
Supports both high-side and low-side rectification
Power savings of up to 1.5W in a typical notebook adapter
