Description
The ADC12L080 is a 12-bit, 80 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a 450 MHz bandwidth. It features a differential, pipeline architecture with digital error correction and an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit. The ADC12L080 can be operated with either an internal or external reference and consumes just 425 mW at 80 MSPS. It has a Power Down mode that reduces power consumption to 50 mW. The differential inputs provide a full-scale input swing equal to ±VREF. The output data format can be selected as either offset binary or two's complement. The ADC12L080 is available in a 32-lead LQFP package and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
