Description

The TLA2518 is an easy-to-use,8-channel, multiplexed, 12-bit, 1-MSPS, successive approximation register analog-to-digitalconverter (SAR ADC). The eight channels can be independently configured as either analog inputs,digital inputs, or digital outputs. The device has aninternal oscillator for the ADC conversion process.

The TLA2518 communicates via an SPI compatible interface and supportsaveraging multiple data samples with a single start of conversion. The built-in programmableaveraging filters help reduce noise from the analog inputs and reduce the number of data samplesrequired to be read by the host.
