Description
The AD9230 is a 12-bit, high-performance analog-to-digital converter (ADC) optimized for low power and ease of use. It operates at up to 250 MSPS and delivers exceptional dynamic performance in wideband carrier and broadband systems. The ADC incorporates a track-and-hold (T/H) and voltage reference, providing a complete signal conversion solution.
Features
High performance: SNR of 64.9 dBFS at 250 MSPS with a 70 MHz input
Low power: Consumes only 434 mW at 250 MSPS in LVDS SDR mode
Ease of use: LVDS output data and output clock signal enable interface with current FPGA technology. On-chip reference and sample and hold provide flexibility in system design. Single 1.8 V supply simplifies power supply design.
Serial port control: Standard serial port interface supports various product functions, including data formatting, disabling the clock duty cycle stabilizer, power-down, gain adjustment, and output test pattern generation.
Pin-compatible family: 10-bit pin-compatible family offered as AD9211.
