Description
The ICS8535701 is a 4:1 or 2:1 Differentialto3.3V LVPECL/ECL clock multiplexer that operates up to 750MHz. It has four selectable clock inputs, with the CLK, nCLK pair accepting most standard differential input levels (LVDS, LVPECL, LVHSTL, SSTL, HCSL). The device can operate in either LVPECL (VCC = 3.135V to 3.465V, VEE = 0V) or ECL (VCC = 0V, VEE = 3.135V to 3.465V) modes. Its fully differential architecture and low propagation delay make it suitable for clock distribution circuits. The select pins have internal pulldown resistors, allowing the device to be configured as a 2:1 multiplexer by leaving one input unconnected. The SEL1 pin is the most significant bit, and the binary number applied to the select pins selects the corresponding data input (e.g., 00 selects CLKO, nCLKO).
