Description
The Si8250/1/2 is a single-chip, Flash-based digital power controller that supports both isolated and non-isolated applications. It enables new system capabilities such as adaptive dead-time control for higher efficiency, nonlinear control for faster transient response, self-diagnostics for higher reliability, and an SMBus port.
The Si8250/1/2 is a highly integrated control solution that includes a high-speed digital hardware control loop and an in-system programmable supervisory processor. It also has programmable system protection functions and in-system Flash programmability. The Flash can also be used as NV memory for data storage.
