Description
The HiperPFS family of high-power PFC controllers with integrated high-voltage MOSFETs provides a single-chip solution for boost power factor correction (PFC) that complies with EN61000-3-2 Class C and D standards. These controllers offer high light load efficiency at 10% and 20% load, with over 95% efficiency from 10% load to full load. The frequency is adjusted over line voltage and line cycle, and spread-spectrum across a >60 kHz window simplifies EMI filtering requirements. The lower boost inductance allows for smaller form factor and higher power density designs.
