MCP9701T-E/TT Overview
For safety reasons, analog sensors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). It is important to ensure the safety of the analog sensors by packaging them in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. A 3 pin is required for proper operation of this sensor. It contains 3 terminations. In operation, the analog sensors may supply a voltage of 6μA. This sensor is designed to supply a maximum DC voltage of 5.5V. A magnetic switch may provide a minimum DC voltage of 3V in a DC circuit, however. To function, this sensor requires 6μA of power. A sensor's current output should typically be 100μA for optimal performance.
