MCP9700-E/TO Overview
The Bag package protects these analog sensors. To protect the devices from damage, the analog sensors are packaged in TO-226-3, TO-92-3 (TO-226AA) packages. There are 3 pins on this sensor for proper operation. In this electronic part, there are 3 terminations. It is possible for the analog sensors to provide a current of 6μA when they are working. Ideally, this sensor should provide a voltage of 5.5V in a DC circuit. Nevertheless, this magnetic switch can supply a DC circuit with a voltage as low as 2.3V. The sensor can work with 6μA current nominally. Sensors should have a current output of 100μA for optimal performance. Sensors typically output 500mV as their output voltage.
