Description
L6599 H-Bridge Controller Basics
The L6599 is a resonant half-bridge topology-specific double-ended controller. The high-side and low-side switches are pushed ON 180° out-of-phase for the same amount of time, resulting in a 50 percent complementary duty cycle. The operating frequency is modulated to achieve output voltage control. Soft-switching is ensured by a defined deadtime inserted between the turn-off of one switch and the turn-on of the other, allowing for high-frequency operation.
