Description
The ICL7109 is a monolithic 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for easy interfacing with microprocessors and UARTs. It features:
12-bit binary plus polarity and over-range outputs
Direct interface to microprocessor bus
Control via microprocessor chip select and byte enable inputs
UART handshake mode for serial data transmission
High accuracy with low rollover error and zero reading drift
Low power consumption and input bias current
Zero-integrator phase for fast overload recovery, eliminating overrange hangover, crosstalk, and hysteresis
Enhanced bus driving capability
