Description
BP104 Overview
A Bulk package protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into 2-DIP (0.200, 5.10mm) packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 60V when operating in reverse-bias mode continuously. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 60V permanently. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. A circuit made up of photodiodes could release heat 215mW. While operating photodiodes, the temperature should not exceed 100°C. However, the minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes should be set at -40°C. It is recommended that the reverse anode voltage on the photodiodes be 60V. It is generally recommended that the maximum heat released by photodiodes should be 215mW in a circuit. If the reverse voltage is set to 60V, the photodiodes can work effectively. Make sure photodiodes work with 60V breakdown voltage. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 2nA current.
