Description
The AP1212 series are dual integrated high-side power switches with independent enable and flag functions, optimized for self-powered and bus-powered Universal Serial Bus (USB) applications. They support USB requirements, including:
Supplying up to 500mA per switch channel
Meeting USB voltage drop requirements
Limiting fault current to typically 1000mA
Providing a flag output to indicate fault conditions
Additional features include:
Thermal shutdown
Under voltage lockout (UVLO)
3.3V and 5V logic compatible enable inputs
Soft start to eliminate momentary voltage drop on the upstream port
