Description
The ADS8401 is a 16-bit, 1.25 MHz analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an internal 4.096-V reference. It features a 16-bit capacitor-based SAR ADC with inherent sample and hold. The ADS8401 offers a full 16-bit interface and an 8-bit option for data readout. It has a unipolar single-ended input range of 0 V to Vref. The device is available in a 48-lead TQFP package and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
