Description
The ADS1000 is a low-power, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a serial I²C interface. It is packaged in a tiny SOT-23-6 package and offers a complete data acquisition system. The ADS1000 operates from a single power supply ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V and consumes only 90μA. It features a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with gains of 1, 2, 4, or 8, allowing for high-resolution measurements of smaller signals. The ADS1000 performs conversions at a rate of 128 samples per second (SPS) and has an integral nonlinearity of 1LSB max. It is pin- and software-compatible with the 16-bit ADS1100.
