Description
The ADN2525 is a laser diode driver designed for direct modulation of packaged laser diodes with differential resistance ranging from 5 to 50 ohms. It utilizes active back-termination to provide excellent matching with output transmission lines while reducing power dissipation in the output stage. This back-termination absorbs signal reflections from the TOSA end of the output transmission lines, enabling excellent optical eye quality even when the TOSA end is significantly mismatched. The compact 3 mm x 3 mm LFCSP package makes it suitable for modules where laser diodes are packaged in low pin-count optical subassemblies.
