ADM5170JP Overview
Designed for common LEDs, this driver IC features an enhanced 28-LCC (J-Lead) package.The Tube package houses this receiver.This Driver can transceiver is a versatile part that has enabled many solutions to serve a variety of purposes.On any Surface Mount-type PCB or development board, you can install this wide receiver.It takes 9V~15V from the power supply to run this differential driver.At any given time, there can be up to 8/0 eligible receivers/drivers for this electronic part.IC receiver has been designed primarily for applications operating at 0°C~70°C.With a supply voltage range of 10V, this line driver ic operates efficiently.The integrated terminations of this wide receiver allow it to drive and receive signals from data.Transceiver comes with 28 standard pinouts that meet the market's requirements.For more variants of this part, try searching with the base part number ADM5170, which indicates the product type, temperature, package, etc.This is a 28-pin driver IC with enhanced power dissipation control.A dramatic reduction in package size is achieved through optical transceiver downsizing and high-density Surface Mount mounting technologies.An input voltage supply of 10V is required to operate the transceiver module.The integrator circuit has embedded 8 drivers.Additionally, this optical transceiver module features the PROGRAMMABLE SLEW RATE function, which improves the stability and accuracy of signal management in general.It has the ability to drive LEDs with an input voltage of up to about 36mA with the help of this integrating circuit.A temperature above -10V is recommended for the operation of the line driver ic.It includes a dual supply voltage arrangement of 15V maximum that can be applied to this integrator circuit.For this can transceiver the power supply should be able to handle an output voltage of 9V since it deals with dual supply voltage.

The ADM5170 is an octal line driver suitable for digital communication systems with data rates up to 116 kB/s. Input TTL or CMOS signal levels are inverted and translated into either EIA RS-232E or RS-423A signal levels depending on the status of the Mode Select inputs MS and MS-. With both Mode Select inputs at GND, RS-423 operation is selected while with MS connected to VDD and MS- connected to VSS, RS-232 operation is selected. The output slew rates may be controlled using an external resistor connected between the SRA (Slew Rate Adjust) pin and GND. Resistor values between 2 kOhm and 10 kOhm may be selected giving a slew rate which can be adjusted from 10 V/µs to 2.2 V/µs. This adjustment of the slew rate allows tailoring of the output characteristics to suit the interface cable being used. The outputs may be disabled using the EN (Enable Input). This feature permits sharing of a common output line. The ADM5170 is fabricated on an advanced CMOS process featuring low power consumption. In the disabled state the power consumption reduces from 500 mW to 40 mW. The ADM5170 is available in both 28-pin DIP and 28-lead PLCC packages.
