Description
The AD9518-2 is a multi-output clock generator with an integrated 2.2 GHz VCO. It features low phase noise and jitter performance, making it suitable for applications requiring precise timing. The on-chip VCO tunes from 2.05 GHz to 2.33 GHz, and an external VCO/VCXO up to 2.4 GHz can be used optionally.
The AD9518-2 has six LVPECL outputs in three pairs, each with programmable dividers and coarse phase delay. It accepts LVPECL, LVDS, or CMOS references up to 250 MHz and has reference monitoring capability. The device also features automatic revertive and manual reference switchover/holdover modes.
