Description
The AD7821 is a high-speed, 8-bit, sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a built-in track-and-hold function. It offers a fast conversion time of 660 ns, a 100 kHz track-and-hold function, and a 1 MHz sample rate. The AD7821 can operate with unipolar or bipolar input ranges and has ratiometric reference inputs. It is designed with standard microprocessor control signals and latched, three-state data outputs for interfacing to high-speed data buses.
