Description
AD7683ACPZRL Overview
Analog Devices Inc. is a well-known brand in the electronics industry, particularly in the field of data acquisition. One of their most popular products is the Data Acquisition - Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) chip. This chip falls under the Data Acquisition - Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) category, which is essential in converting analog signals into digital data. The package or case of this chip is 8-WDFN Exposed Pad, CSP, making it compact and easy to integrate into various electronic devices. Furthermore, it comes in Tape & Reel (TR) packaging, which ensures safe transportation and storage of the product. However, it is worth noting that this particular chip is now considered obsolete, meaning it is no longer in production. This may be due to advancements in technology, and newer and more efficient versions of the chip are now available in the market. Despite this, the Analog Devices Inc. brand is still trusted and highly regarded by many in the industry. The terminal form of this chip is NO LEAD, which means it does not have any leads or pins protruding from its body. This makes it suitable for surface mount technology, where the chip is directly mounted onto the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB). The supply voltage for this chip is 2.7V, which is the minimum required voltage for it to function properly. It is important to note that the supply voltage should not exceed 5.5V, as it may damage the chip. In terms of its specifications, this ADC chip has 8 pins, also known as the pin count. It has a data interface of SPI and DSP, which allows for high-speed data transfer between the chip and the microcontroller. Additionally, the digital voltage supply for this chip ranges from 2.7V to 5.5V, making it compatible with a wide range of electronic devices. Lastly, the length of this chip is 3mm, making it suitable for compact designs and space-constrained applications. In conclusion, the Analog Devices Inc. Data Acquisition - Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) chip is a reliable and high-quality product that has been widely used in the electronics industry. Despite being obsolete, it still holds value and is trusted by many due to its brand reputation. Analog to Digital Converters - ADC 100 kSPS 16-BIT
The AD7683 is a 16-bit, charge redistribution, successive approximation, PulSAR® analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single power supply, VDD, between 2.7 V and 5.5 V. It contains a low power, high speed, 16-bit sampling ADC with no missing codes (B grade), an internal conversion clock, and a serial, SPI-compatible interface port. The part also contains a low noise, wide bandwidth, short aperture delay, track-and-hold circuit. On the CS falling edge, it samples an analog input, IN, between 0 V to REF with respect to a ground sense, –IN. The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be set up to the supply voltage. Its power scales linearly with throughput. The AD7683 is housed in an 8-lead MSOP or an 8-lead QFN (LFCSP) package, with an operating temperature specified from -40°C to 85°C.
