Description
The AD7575 is a high-speed 8-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an integrated track/hold function. It utilizes successive approximation conversion to achieve a fast conversion time of 5 μs. The on-chip track/hold allows for the digitization of full-scale signals up to 50 kHz with slew rates of up to 386 mV/μs.
The AD7575 operates on a single 5 V supply and requires a low-cost 1.23 V bandgap reference. It can convert an input signal range of 0 to 2 VREF-.
The device features a simple interface with standard microprocessor control signals (CS and RD) for initiating conversions and reading data. It can be configured as a memory-mapped device or interfaced as SLOW-MEMORY or ROM. All data outputs are latched and three-state buffered for direct connection to a microprocessor data bus or I/O port.
