TPS5450DDA Description
A low-resistance, high-side N-channel MOSFET is included into the TPS5450, a high-output-current PWM converter. A high-performance voltage error amplifier, an undervoltage lockout circuit, an internally set slow-start circuit to limit inrush currents, and a voltage feedforward circuit to enhance the transient response are all included on the substrate along with the aforementioned features. They also provide tight voltage regulation accuracy under transient conditions. Shutdown supply current is normally decreased to 18 A using the ENA pin. An active-high enable, overcurrent limiting, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown are further features. The TPS5450 feedback loop is internally adjusted to lower design complexity and external component count.
