TPS2553DRVR Description
The TPS2553DRVR is a current-limited, power-distribution switch that uses N-channel MOSFETs to supply up to 1.5 A of continuous load current for applications with short circuits or heavy capacitive loads. Using an external resistor, the user can program the current-limit threshold between 75 mA and 1.7 A (typ). At the higher current-limit levels, current-limit accuracy of up to 6% can be reached. To minimize current surges during turn on/off, the rise and fall times of the power switch are managed.
