Description
The TLC2933 is a highperformance phaselocked loop (PLL) device that consists of a voltagecontrolled oscillator (VCO) and a phase frequency detector (PFD). The VCO's oscillation frequency range is set by an external bias resistor (RBIAS). The PFD is a highspeed edgetriggered type with an internal charge pump that detects the phase difference between the reference frequency input and the signal frequency input from an external counter. Both the VCO and PFD have inhibit functions that can be used as a powerdown mode.
