Description
The TDA8784 is a 10-bit analog-to-digital interface for CCD cameras. It includes:
Correlated Double Sampling (CDS)
Automatic Gain Control (AGC)
10-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC)
Reference voltage regulator
The CDS and AGC have adjustable bandwidths controlled by on-chip DACs via a serial interface. The device also features:
10-bit DAC for ADC input clamp level control
8-bit DAC for additional system controls
6 dB fixed gain analog output for analog iris control
Standby mode for power saving
Features
Sampling frequency up to 18 MHz
AGC gain range: 4.5 to 34.5 dB (0.1 dB steps)
CDS bandwidth range: 4 to 120 MHz
AGC bandwidth range: 4 to 54 MHz
Low power consumption: 483 mW (typ)
5 V operation
2.5 to 5.25 V operation for digital outputs
TTL compatible inputs
TTL and CMOS compatible outputs
