Description
The SY89295U is a programmable delay line that adjusts the input signal's delay using a digital control signal. The delay range is 3.2ns to 14.8ns in 10ps increments. It operates with LVPECL input signals and uses either a 2.5V ±5% or 3.3V ±10% power supply. The device is guaranteed to perform over the industrial temperature range (-40°C to 85°C).
The delay is controlled by a 10-bit control word, with each bit representing a 10ps delay increment. The eleventh bit (D[10]) allows for cascading multiple SY89295U devices to achieve a larger delay range. The input pins (IN and /IN) default to a low state when left floating. The control register interface accepts CMOS or TTL level signals.
