Highly integrated, programmable laser driver for SONET/SDH applications up to 2.7Gbps
Accepts differential PECL or LVDS data and clock inputs
Provides programmable bias and modulation currents for laser driving
DC-coupled modulation output for power savings
Synchronizing TTL input latch for jitter reduction
TTL enable for IMOD control
Automatic power controller (APC) for constant average optical output power
External temperature compensation for modulation current
Safety features with alarm function for high output signal or bias current
