The Microsemi SG1543/SG2543/SG3543 is a monolithic integrated circuit that provides comprehensive monitoring and control functions for power supply systems. It includes:
Over-voltage (O.V.) sensing with SCR "crowbar" shutdown trigger
Under-voltage (U.V.) sensing for output or input line voltage monitoring
Current sensing (C.L.) circuit for linear amplification or high-gain comparison
Independent, accurate reference generator
Features
Over-voltage, under-voltage, and current sensing circuits
Reference voltage trimmed to 1% accuracy
SCR "crowbar" drive of 300mA
Programmable time delays
Open-collector outputs and remote activation capability
Total standby current less than 10mA
Available to MIL-STD-883, 11.2.1 MSC-AMS level "S" Processing
