Description
PTFT1206L2200JW Overview
In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. In this thermistor, there are 2 pins. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 50V when they are operating. Ideally, this power loss can be transferred and conducted by the thermistor without it overheating. DC circuits use thermistors rated at 50V voltage.
