Description
The PT7C4563 is a low-power serial real-time clock/calendar with a programmable square-wave output. It uses an external 32.768 kHz quartz crystal and supports PC-Bus's high-speed mode (400 kHz). The clock/calendar provides seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year information in BCD code. It automatically adjusts for months with fewer than 31 days, including leap year corrections. The clock operates in the 24-hour format.
