The PCM1753, PCM1754, and PCM1755 (PCM175x) devices are stereo digital-to-analogconverters (DACs) based on TIs enhanced delta-sigma architecture. This enhanced architectureemploys 4th-order noise shaping and 8-level amplitude quantization to achieve excellent dynamicperformance and improved clock jitter tolerance. The PCM175x devices easily interface with audioDSP and decoder chips because of the devices support of industry-standard audio data formats with16-bit and 24-bit data. The PCM175x devices can be controlled in a hardware mode, or through a fullset of user-programmable functions that are accessible through a three-wire serial control portthat supports register-write functions.
The PCM1753 is pin compatible with the PCM1748, PCM1742, and PCM1741, except for pin5.
