Description
The NCT7509 is a Nuvoton Hardware Monitor IC that includes:
1 remote and 1 on-die temperature sensor
1 fan controller with SMBus interface
The remote sensor is a diode-connected transistor (e.g., 2N3904) or a thermal diode integrated in CPUs and GPUs. The NCT7509 also supports an offset adjust register to correct errors caused by different thermal diodes.
