Description
The NCP5810D is a dual-output DC/DC converter that generates both positive and negative voltages. Both PWM converters achieve high efficiency for portable applications. The high output voltage accuracy and signal integrity make the NCP5810D suitable for powering applications like AMOLED display drivers. The inverter's output voltage is configurable using external feedback resistors, while the boost's output voltage is internally fixed. The switching regulator operates at 1.75 MHz, allowing for small inductors and ceramic capacitors. Both converters are internally compensated, simplifying design and reducing PCB component count. Cycle-by-cycle peak current limit and thermal shutdown provide protection features. The NCP5810D is housed in a low-profile, space-efficient 3x3 mm UDFN package.
