Description
The Maxim MX7225 and MX7226 are quad 8-bit voltage-output digital-to-analog converters (DACs) with output buffer amplifiers and input logic for microprocessor and TTL/CMOS interfaces. They achieve 8-bit performance over the full operating temperature range without external trimming.
The MX7225 has double-buffered logic inputs for simultaneous updates of all analog outputs using one control signal. It also has four separate reference inputs for independent setting of each DAC's range.
The MX7226 has separate input registers for each DAC. Data is transferred into an input register from a common 8-bit TTL/CMOS-compatible input port. Address inputs A0 and A1 determine which DAC is loaded when WR goes low. All DACs share a common reference input.
