Description
The MIC2537 is a cost-effective high-side power switch with four independently controlled channels, optimized for bus-powered Universal Serial Bus (USB) applications. It satisfies USB requirements, including:
Supplying up to 100mA per channel for downstream devices
Limiting fault current to typically 250mA
Providing a flag output to indicate fault conditions
Additional features include:
Soft start to eliminate voltage drop on the upstream port
Thermal shutdown for protection against high-current loads
3.3V and 5V logic compatible enable inputs
