Description
The LTC3725 is a controller for a single-switch forward converter with an integrated gate driver. It features an on-chip rectifier and self-starting architecture, eliminating the need for a separate gate drive bias supply. The controller includes a linear regulator controller for fast start-up, a precision UVLO with adjustable hysteresis, and overcurrent protection. A volt-second limit prevents transformer core saturation, while voltage feedforward ensures fast transient response. The LTC3725 is available in a 10-lead MSOP package.
