Description
The LTC1599 is a 16-bit multiplying DAC with a 2-byte parallel digital interface. It operates from a single 5V supply and features true 16-bit performance over the industrial temperature range. The on-chip 4-quadrant resistors allow for precise outputs of 0V to 10V, 0V to -10V, or ±10V. The LTC1599 has a 2µs settling time to 0.0015% (with LT1468) and a glitch impulse of 1.5nV-s. It also includes an asynchronous clear pin that resets the DAC to zero scale or midscale. The LTC1599 is available in 24-lead SSOP and PDIP packages and has low power consumption of 10µW typical.
