Description
The STL99PD08SPI is a control and diagnostics interface device for VIPower™ MO-5 and MO-5E high side drivers. It integrates multiple functions to reduce microcontroller workload and connections. The device supports both analog and digital VIPower status readback and features 8 independent PWM channels with selectable base clock options. It offers programmable PWM turn-on phase shift, diagnostic thresholds, and over-temperature latch-off for enhanced HSD short circuit reliability. Additionally, it includes a limp home safety mode, ST-SPI interface protocol for data communication, and an external enable pin for low power mode. The device provides detailed and filtered diagnostics for each channel and direct multiplexed VIPower status/current sense feedback. It operates with a supply voltage of 3.3 or 5.0 V.
