Description
The L6598 is a high-voltage resonant controller manufactured using BCD™ offline technology. It supports voltage ratings up to 600 V, making it suitable for AC/DC adapters and applications where a resonant topology is beneficial. The device drives two power MOSFETs in a half-bridge topology. It features a dedicated timing section for setting soft-start time, soft-start, and minimum frequency. An error amplifier and two enable inputs are also provided. Additionally, the integrated bootstrap diode and Zener clamping on the low voltage supply minimize the external components required in applications.
