Description
The DS2404 EconoRAM Time Chip is a nonvolatile dual-port memory device that includes a real-time clock/calendar, programmable interval timer, and programmable power-on cycle counter. It features a unique, factory-lasered 64-bit registration number for absolute traceability. The memory is partitioned into 16 pages of 256 bits for packetizing data, and a 256-bit scratchpad ensures data transfer integrity. Programmable alarms can be set to generate interrupts for the interval timer, real-time clock, and/or cycle counter.
