Power Integrations CAP200DG

Description
The CAP200DG is an automatic X capacitor discharge IC that simplifies EMI filter design. It blocks current flow through X capacitor discharge resistors when AC voltage is connected, reducing power loss to less than 5 mW. When AC voltage is disconnected, the CAP200DG automatically discharges the X capacitor through discharge resistors. This allows for flexibility in X capacitor selection to optimize differential mode EMI filtering and reduce inductor costs without affecting power consumption.
