Description
The AFE4400 is a fully integrated analog front-end (AFE) designed for pulse oximeter applications. It features a low-noise receiver channel with an integrated analog-to-digital converter (ADC), an LED transmit section, and diagnostics for sensor and LED fault detection. The AFE4400 offers flexible timing control and an integrated oscillator for low-jitter clocking. It communicates with external devices via an SPI interface. The device is packaged in a compact QFN-40 package and operates over a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
