Ⅴ. Working principle of 74HC00


In the 74HC00, each NAND gate has two inputs and one output. When both input terminals are high level, the output terminal is low level; when at least one input terminal is high level (K1 is pressed, K2 is disconnected) or low level, the output terminal is high level. Specifically, if both input terminals are high level (K1 is pressed and K2 is also disconnected), then the output terminal of 74HC00 will remain low level; if at least one of the two input terminals is low level (Whether K1 is disconnected or K2 is connected to low level), then the output terminal of 74HC00 will become high level.


In addition, 74HC00 also has a positive feedback effect. When the output terminal is at a high level, the voltage at the input terminal is pulled up through R1; when the output terminal is at a low level, the voltage at the input terminal is pulled down through R1.
