Overview
Description
The AD2S1205 is a 12-bit resolver-to-digital converter (RDC) with an on-board programmable sinusoidal oscillator for resolver excitation. It employs a Type II tracking loop to convert resolver input signals into digital representations of angle and velocity. The device offers a maximum tracking rate of 1250 rps at a clock frequency of 8.192 MHz ± 25%.

Programmable excitation frequency (10 kHz, 12 kHz, 15 kHz, or 20 kHz)
Triple format position data: 12-bit parallel, 3-wire serial, and incremental encoder emulation
Digital velocity output: 12-bit signed parallel or serial
44-lead LQFP package
4 kV ESD protection
